Rox Earns Interest in Bonya Copper Project

By | Announcements | No Comments

Rox Resources Limited (ASX: RXL) (“Rox” or “the Company”) is pleased to report it has earned a 51% interest in the Bonya copper project, located 350km east of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory.

Under the terms of an agreement entered into with Arafura Resources Limited (“Arafura”) (ASX: ARU) in October 2012, Rox was required to spend $500,000 by 10 December 2014 to earn a 51% interest in the copper, lead, zinc, silver, gold, bismuth and PGE mineral rights over tenement EL29701.

Following the recently completed reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Bonya Mine prospect, that initial expenditure requirement was met and as a result Rox has earned a 51% joint venture interest.

In addition, given the high grade nature of the drilling results (see below), Rox has elected to earn a further 19% (for 70% in total) interest by spending a further $1 million by 10 December 2016. Once Rox has earned a 70% interest a joint venture with Arafura will be formed to further explore and develop the area.

Rox Expands Mt Fisher Ground Holding

By | Announcements | No Comments

Rox Resources Limited (ASX: RXL) (“Rox” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an Option Agreement to acquire 100% of two additional granted mineral tenements at its Mt Fisher gold-nickel project, 500km north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.

The new tenements are situated along strike to the south of known nickel and gold mineralised zones on Rox’s tenements (Figure 1).

Managing Director Ian Mulholland commented, “We now cover all of the areas that we want to have in this project at the current time.”

“These two new tenements offer Rox some very prospective additional ground, being along strike from known nickel sulphide and gold mineralisation.”

In particular, given our exciting nickel sulphide discoveries, adding another 10km of potential strike gives us much more scope to expand the already impressive resource base we are identifying.

“In addition, the new gold tenement already has a significant aircore geochemical anomaly on it that hasn’t been tested with RC drilling, so there is the potential to add to our gold resources also.”

Rox Resources Limited (ASX: RXL) (“Rox” or “the Company”) is pleased to report assays from the current core drilling program at the Teena zinc prospect (Figure 1), which forms part of the Reward project in the Northern Territory.

Assay results from the first hole of a 4,000m drilling program confirm visual results first reported to ASX on 17 September 2014. Diamond drill hole TNDD013 has extended the drilled strike length of known mineralisation to over 1.5 kilometres.
